Attendees, having successfully completed this training, can apply Health and Safety legislation and the best practice when planning, preparing, communicating and completing associated documentation for working at height to ensure all safety measures are in place to maintain a safe work environment.
Demonstrate an understanding of the responsibilities and legal requirements of individuals and groups conducting work at height.
Explain the safety systems used for work at height.
Conduct a hazard & risk analysis when planning work at height.
Unit standard credits are registered with the NZQA
Successful candidates receive a certificate/wallet card
All associated equipment i.e. helmets, harness, are provided
Attendees must have a reasonable level of written and oral English equivalent to NCEA level 1. It is the responsibility of the attendee or person authorised and responsible for making the booking to disclose any English language support needs.
