Arresting a fall and mitigating the impacts

Fall prevention systems are the first line of defence in height safety, providing physical barriers to keep people at a safe distance from hazards. But, if a fall occurs, fall arrest systems kick into gear to stop and/or reduce the impact of a fall.

Fall arrest systems are the back up to fall prevention systems (link to fall prevention landing page) and are your second line of defence in protecting those working at heights. Fall arrest systems are typically comprised of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as harnesses and ropes connected in to fall arrest structures such as roof anchors, static lines and overhead rails.

If a fall occurs, the fall arrest system activates and safely stops the fall, minimizing the impact and reducing the risk of injury. Fall arrest systems are reactive measures intended to mitigate the consequences of a fall rather than preventing the fall itself.

Roof Anchor Systems

Provides safe access for roof and gutter maintenance, and servicing of roof mounted equipment. Roof anchors are designed to provide a secure point of attachment for anyone who requires access to a roof.

Rigid Rail

A proprietary fall arrest and rope access system providing continuous and effective fall protection. Suitable for multiple users. The rail is a rigid system providing continuous and effective fall protection and/or work positioning systems.
