Davits and needles enable rope access technicians to work safely and with ease across a range of structures. Davits allow for rigging out over structures such as parapets and curtain walls, projecting abseil ropes over the edge of the building without damaging the façade. Needles help spread the load to avoid damaging roof areas and facilitate access for roofs with no parapets.

Davits and needle systems

When working at heights it is imperative that the user can easily handle components without the fear of losing control of their equipment. Kattsafe’s davits and needles are lightweight, easy to move, assemble or pull apart.

They have a very low visual impact from ground level and can be stored away when not in use. And are designed and engineered to conform with requirements of the Australian and New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 5532:2013 AS/NZS/ISO22846, AS/NZS1891 and relevant codes of practices and guidelines.
