Summerset Group Holdings Ltd. The supply and installation of Bird Shock Track on the Roofs ridge.
Pigeons have become a persistent nuisance, landing and creating unsightly messes on the roof, outside sitting area, and within the turrets. In addition to their disruptive presence, they’ve begun nesting inside the turrets, along with the discovery of deceased pigeons.
To maintain the building’s sleek aesthetic, discreet conduits were installed to conceal all cabling along the turrets. This careful attention to detail ensures that the structure’s visual appeal remains uninterrupted.
The Bird Shock Track system was installed along all ridged areas of the Retirement Village roof, providing effective bird deterrence while preserving the structure’s appearance. To ensure optimal adhesion, any rough surfaces were carefully sanded and prepared. Each of the five systems is paired with solar-powered units for enhanced efficiency.
The Retirement Village’s roof includes turrets, where the shock track needed to be installed. This required a customised safety plan, leading us to design a secure system that ensures technicians stay safely attached at all times while working.
The annual inspection of the bird track system, along with the replacement of batteries for the solar-powered units, is conducted to ensure optimal performance.
